We are proud to have been identified among 40 collaboration projects in the Clean Growth Handbook Malaysia that is commissioned by the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and Department for Business and Trade, with support from Arup as the delivery partner.

Our project with Zipabout in delivering real-time, personalised journey planning information for public transport in Kuala Lumpur has been identified as a key technology and innovation project that will contribute towards the scaling of clean growth in the Malaysian transport sector. Digitisation in public transport is a key strategy in attaining our national targets for decarbonisation and carbon intensity reduction, and we hope to play a big part in that for the cities and nations in the developing world.

Unveiling Collaborative Triumphs

At its core, the Clean Growth Handbook stands as a testament to the partnership between Malaysia and the United Kingdom. It underscores the power of collaboration and their shared dedication to advancing clean growth initiatives. This comprehensive resource showcases the remarkable strides achieved through public-private sector teamwork. Noteworthy mentions include the transformative UK-Malaysia Partnering for Accelerated Climate Transitions program, the harmonious synergy between Bursa Malaysia and the London Stock Exchange’s sustainability platform, and groundbreaking advancements in carbon capture technologies championed by Petronas and Storegga.

A Catalyst for Action

More than a repository of insights, the Clean Growth Handbook Malaysia is a call to action. It beckons entrepreneurs, innovators, and leaders to grasp the promising potential for clean growth within Malaysia. It assures us that sustainable progress is attainable, guiding us toward a future where growth and environmental consciousness coexist in harmony.
