The MoU outlines efforts to deliver high-quality, cutting-edge digital systems for public transit operations in Southeast Asia

KUALA LUMPUR, 27 June 2022: Asia Mobility Technologies Sdn Bhd (“Asia Mobiliti”), a leading mobility-as-a-service solutions provider, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Indonesian state-owned company PT Len Railway Systems (“LRS”) to advance the digitalisation of public transportation in Southeast Asia.

Under the terms of the MoU, both parties have agreed to collaborate to deliver high-quality and cutting-edge digital systems for the control, monitoring and management of public transit operations. This will be achieved by integrating products and services from both parties and to deliver this as part of a combined ‘turnkey’ solution to customers.

The cooperation not only brings the two countries together in an effort to increase bilateral ties but also serves as an opportunity for both companies to find synergies and leverage off each other’s respective areas of expertise. The MoU will also enable both companies to lead the way in digitalising public sector transportation amongst Southeast Asian nations.

Established in 2012 and a subsidiary of PT Len Industri (Persero), the Bandung, Indonesia-based LRS with its decades of experience is the market leader in the railway systems sector in Indonesia, with its products, engineering, and services.

Founded and based in Kuala Lumpur, Asia Mobiliti is an innovative technology startup, which designs, engineers and operates a platform of data products aimed at powering intelligent urban mobility.

The signing of the MoU between Asia Mobiliti and LRS took place on the sidelines of the Railway Solutions Asia 2022 Show being held at the KLCC Convention Centre.
